The association Objectif Sciences, non-profit organisation, is recognized as a Public Benefit organization according to the several countries where it is implanted; that means concretely that you can support our action by making donations which are taxes exonerated and which you can deduce from your taxes in your home country.

And this, whether you decide to emit your donation in your own name or in the name of the company in which you are taking part.

By this way, you can accelerate the result of our efforts by financing our activities intelligently, without representing any cost for you, since you can retire the whole or a part of your donations from your taxes.

If you don’t pay taxes but nevertheless you wish to support us while benefiting from your charitable act, several other possibilities are also proposed to you below (such as the loans...).

This page of the web site presents the various means you have at your disposal to support us.

 Benefactor Adhesion

Any person who wishes to take part in the activities of the association must adhere to it. If you wish to take part in one or an other of our activities and if you wish to take the opportunity to support us, you can, instead of taking the traditional adhesion of profit member of 20 euros, decide to take the adhesion of benevolence, whose amount is 250 euros.

 Donation of material

En 2006, une dame nous faisait don de l’intégrale du Magazine La Recherche, qui se trouve aujourd’hui dans la bibliothèque du Centre de Séjour Scientifique Europe

Yourself, a member of your family or a friend, hold books or scientific and technical material which you don’t know what to do with, or although which you do not exploit sufficiently to be satisfied with.

Or, your company renews its material park (computers, pumps, wind mills, test benches, turns, vehicles...) and instead of throwing this material in the bin you prefer to develop it financially.

Cette parabole expérimentale a été déployée durant l’été 2008 par les participants des séjours, suite à sa réception sous la forme d’un don.

You can decide to make a donation about this material for the association which will take the greatest care about it and will exploit entire these new means you gave us. Thus we can manage our Research and Education action more easily with your help.

At the time of the donation, all your material becomes occasion of a financial evaluation, and the association emits a tax receipt of this defined amount, which you can use then to retire it from your taxes. And this whatever your home country is.

 Donation of patents

You hold a licence, a patented or idea kept secret, a model, or the plans of a technical system.

If you wish to see this invention (yours, one of your parents) to become concrete and persist, you can make of it a donation or a leg for the association, under various conditions which you can define with us.

Not only you will see your project growing, but amoreover you will have helped the association in its work by the provision of this additional licence. Thus we will be abble to make this idea be open to the public.

Your donation is evaluated on its right value and the association emits a tax receipt of of this defined amount, which you can then use to retire it from your taxes. And this whatever your home country is.

 Donation of money

Vos dons permettent à l’association de financer son fonctionnement sur l’intégralité de ses Centres de Séjour Scientifique.

You wish to support the association while retiring the whole or a part of this gift of your taxes (personal or commercial)? You just need to make us a donation of the amount of your choice and in the moment of your choice:

 Donation ranging between 1’000 and 5’000 €: Your small size donations are a real gift for the educators and the researchers of the association who see in it the possibility of supplementing their operational budget.

 Donation ranging between 5’000 and 50’000 €: Your intermediate size donations, if they are targeted on a particular project according to your desires, allows for example to finance the installation or the modernization of the main activity hall of a Research Programme or, if you target a Centre, to finance there for example the installation of a scientific library. In these examples an honorary inscription will be affixed on the wall of the hall which indicates your name as giver at the origin of work.

 Donation ranging between 50’000 € and more: Unbounded higher, it is possible for you to make a donation of a very large amount for the association Objectif Sciences. In this case the sum will be used to create a specific Funds with reserves, and it is only the annual revenue of the Funds which will be used to support the project of your choice, or the association in general. This Funds will have the name of your choice and will continue to give its fruits even beyond your death... You will reach the posterity while continuing to support Objectif Sciences across the years!

For each donation you will do, the association emits a tax receipt of of this defined amount, which you can then use to retire it from your taxes. And this whatever your home country is.

 Sponsorship

You desire to help the association but you want to support a precise project. In order to allow you to help each one of our projects specifically, we permit you to sponsor all or a part of these projects which will be regularly announced to you by email. Yourself, your laboratory or your company will be listed in the sponsors of the project.

In the majority of the cases, the sponsorship are proposed by the acquisition of one or more shares of the project you wish to become a or the sponsor.

For each sponsorship that you carry out, the association forwards to you a tax receipt that you can use to retire it from your taxes, and this whatever your home country is.

 Allocation of Funds

While preserving the property of your money, you can decide to make us profit from the financial income that it generates annually.

While depositing on a remunerated account a sum ranging between 1 million euros and 50 million euros, or more, at the bank of your choice, you can indicate the association like recipient of the annual income of this funds.

With this intention you just need to contact your usual banker or any other banker of your choice. On our side, we create an account especially dedicated to your annual donation. These coordinates of this precise bank account you can indicate to your banker for the payment of the monthly, quarterly or annual income.

You can stop the automatic payment whenever you wish, by informing your banker of the changement.

 For each donation, the association emits a tax receipt which you can use to retire it from your taxes, and this whatever your home country is.

If you wish to place the income of one of your Funds to our disposal, thank you to contact the Person in charge of the Development of the zone which concerns you (Europe, North America, Asia, etc) so that he gives you the coordinates of the account dedicated to your donation.

 Loans

Le bateau d’Objectif Sciences sur les îles de Tahiti a été mis à disposition de l’association sous la forme d’un Crédit-Bail.

You desire to support the association without making a donation. Indeed, you can also make a loan for a precise project.

Here you can find two examples showing to you the diversity of the possible solutions.

 Loan of money: in 2007, the association needed liquidities to finance its passage to a higher stage of organization. 2 people decided to make a loan of 30’000 euros for the association, which are currently refunded monthly on a 5 years expiry.

 Loan of material refunded by Leasing: in 2008 association needed to have a boat at its disposal in order to begin its research activities on the lagoons of French Polynesia (Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine...). A person decided to buy this boat on her account and to place it at the complete disposal of the association. This boat was then bought in Leasing by the association, which means that it will belong to her completely only at the end of the payment of all the monthly payments. The expenses inherent in the use of the boat are in charge of the association at the beginning of the loan (insurances, repairs, maintenance...).

• Guarantee for the lender: as long as the association did not finish to pay the rents the boat remains his property. Icing on the cake for the lender, the boat bears the name of its choice.
• Interest for the association: instead of having to buy the material in only once, this purchase is spread out over 5 years. Icing on the cake for the association, granted by the lender: the use of the boat began in July 2008 but the payment of the rents will begin only a few months later.

All the loans which you grant the association profit from a refunding with interests. That means that while strongly supporting the association in its activity and its growth you make your money generate and income.
